After becoming independent, he has provided DX strategy consulting to both Japanese and international companies, as well as government organizations, supporting projects from planning and development to internal implementation. He is skilled at combining management strategies with data analytics, leveraging a wide range of technical skills in Excel, VBA, SQL, and Python, along with his extensive international experience.

He has a proven track record of driving data-driven decision-making and implementing systems to improve business efficiency, enhancing organizational competitiveness.

Michael McCoy is a bilingual leadership coach (EMCC accredited) and team facilitator with international experience. After studying Japan’s business culture and language, he ran a consultancy in London targeting Japanese companies, refining his negotiation skills while navigating the Asian Currency Crisis. In 2004, he was invited to join Panasonic’s European headquarters, where he achieved €100M in cost savings and promoted team collaboration within a complex organization of over 10,000 employees, earning the Directors’ Foundation Day Prize in 2008. Since then, he has coached executives and teams from Japanese companies, Fortune 500 firms, and even government ministers on topics such as leadership, team building, emotional intelligence, and cross-cultural influence.

After working at Barclays Securities, he co-founded FOLIO Inc. As Director and COO, he led the establishment of the securities company while serving as Chief Internal Control Officer. After becoming President and CEO of the company, he drove the expansion of business operations into corporate services.
Following his departure, he became a director at GRIT Tech Inc., where he was involved in planning and developing multiple businesses, including SaaS ventures.

He then launched reboot (now R Street), a consulting firm specializing in business revitalization, and has led successful turnarounds as a director of a former Tokyo Stock Exchange First Section listed company and as CEO of an AI startup.

Driven to resolve issues encountered on the development floor, she transitioned into business process improvement consulting. Today, as a life coach and facilitator, she engages in meaningful dialogue to deeply explore clients’ challenges and concerns related to work, relationships, and overall life direction, guiding them toward actionable behavioral change.
